Attorney for All


Read I John 2:1-6 I John 2:1, "My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense-Jesus Christ, the Righteous One."
His approach is different. He does not badger the witness. He does not condemn the victim. He is fair and just. He is truly concerned about the welfare of the client. He is Jesus Christ, attorney to all.
	Jesus is our personal defense team. He goes before His father on our behalf. Through our belief, we are granted the best defense that the world has to offer. This is not a new discovery, but an old one. Jesus became our defense when He became the greatest sacrifice. When Jesus died on the cross, He defended humankind from the consequences of sin by dying in our place. He is truly a capable defense attorney who provides a truth which sets the victim free.
Prayer: Dear Lord, Thank You for Your defense in our lives, now and forever. Amen.
